About us
WT TERMINAL SIA. has been operating in the Freeport of Riga since 1999. Terminal activity: provision of stevedoring services and sawn timber processing services. The terminal provides all services in the free economic zone, which is very beneficial for transit cargo.
WT Terminal is a specialized “wood port” with the most powerful equipment for drying and sorting sawn timber in the ports of the Baltic States. The terminal provides processing (reloading) of general and various bulk cargoes, their storage in closed warehouses and open areas intended for storage. The terminal is loading / unloading sea containers, ships, railway cars and road transport. Clients are provided with access to information about the cargo warehouse online.
The terminal has its own railway access road, which allows processing up to 20 wagons per day, 4 berths are used to handle vessels (cargo handling), where the maximum draft of the vessel is 6.7 meters and the permitted length of the vessel is up to 130 meters. The terminal complies with the ISPS security requirements (ISPS - International Ship and Port Facility Security) and provides 24/7 security.
